At the start of 2x09 Shane's comment really pissed me off. I get why he said it...but at the same time, not cool, dude. But I hated how the aftermath was kinda brushed over, and yes - they have to be professional, but still. So this is me writing what I wanted to see happen at the end of the episode
WHAT IF Bex is more affected by Shane's comment about Oliver Odell than she let on? Shane doesn't realize it, but Hassani does...and he takes matters into his own hands after the Colette Akins case because he cares about them both...and that they both love each other more than they let on.

She didn't have the energy to argue or simply tell him he was right, though the smile that might have earned her was tempting. She simply tucked her legs up on the couch, boots already removed and snuggled in closer to him.
Morgans head rested perfectly on the middle of his chest and the arm that had been on the couch came to rest over her hips. She brought a hand up and fisted a small portion of shirt, holding him to her. She sighed deeply, content as the familiar scent of him wrapped lovingly around her.

After the Adrian Gallo case, the team is trying to decompress.
Morales just wanted pizza and a quiet drink.
Instead she ends up front-row to Bex and Shane having what is very obviously a dinner negotiation disguised as casual conversation — one that sounds suspiciously like a date.
Morales realizes two things very quickly.
One: they do this all the time now.
Two: the sexual tension between them is absolutely ridiculous.
When she accidentally interrupts what might have been their first kiss, Morales decides one thing for certain:
