Summary
When Hawks picks up a call from his intern in the middle of the night, "the villain Dabi" is extremely low on the list of things he expects to hear on the other line. Not even on that list is "the villain Dabi, frantic because Hawks' intern just got shot in a back alley in Shizuoka city."
As such, Hawks understandably has many questions when he picks up a call from his intern in the middle of the night and hears the villain Dabi on the other line, frantic because Hawks' intern just got shot in a back alley in Shizuoka city. Questions such as: what the fuck was Dabi thinking, taking Shouto out so late at night? But also: what the fuck is Dabi doing hanging out with Shouto at all? And: what the hell is Shouto doing hanging around the man who tried to murder his dad on national television?
And, most importantly: why does Dabi seem to care so much about Endeavour's son?
