Summary
When Regulus Black faked his death after retrieving the locket, he had every intention of hiding forever. Twelve years later, Albus Dumbledore asks him to come to Hogwarts to replace the retiring Professor Flitwick, believing that with ominous whispers of Voldemort's return, there is no better - or safer - place for Regulus to be. Regulus promises Flitwick that he'll try being a teacher for at least two years, since the first will no doubt be difficult.
But his second year teaching comes with the nightmare of his brother's escape from Azkaban, not to mention Sirius's old friend Remus Lupin taking up a professorship of his own...

Summary
In the world where unworldly creatures pull the strings from the deep of the shadows, always playing their own games, one cannot always tell greater destiny from a fortunate tangle of aleatory events. One would think that the era of godly wars and duels fought by those of Good and those of Evil had come to an end centuries ago, only myths and legends remaining. However, mages and very few of mundane blood remembered those otherwise forgotten days, while the rest of the world moved forward into the future of modernity and the Internet.
When the twenty-first century came almost upon them, all wonders of magic had long been viewed by those of mundane blood as nothing more than fables for children and dreamers, not real, while those with magic flowing through their veins went into hiding with little choice. Eternal beings of old times decided with great sadness that the world of magic and the world of mundane must remain apart.
However, nothing was set in the stone. And so it came to pass that the fate of two siblings of mundane blood intertwined with destinies of six magical children.
