Suddenly, Lando felt something slide around his waist, turning around in shock before coming face to face with none other than Carlos. Carlos leaned in a bit, right by Lando’s ear as he whispered “Just go with it” after which he planted a kiss on Lando’s temple.
Lando was shocked for a moment, barely registering the “Who is this babe?” Carlos asked, smiling wide. ‘Babe? wtf does he mean babe? What is he doing?’ Lando thought, before Carlos’ idea sinking in. Weirdly enough, he was okay with it, going along if only for a way to stop talking to Oscar.
“Good” he mumbled, plastering a smile on his face as he looked at Carlos. “And who is this?” Carlos asked, his gaze dropping to Oscar, barely concealing his distaste for the other. Lando hoped Oscar noticed.
“This is Oscar, Carlos, my ex”
“Nice to meet you” Carlos said, holding out his hand which Oscar gladly seemed to shake. “I’m Carlos, Lando’s boyfriend”

When Lando’s ex breaks up with him without any explanation, no heads up, over a phone call, Lando struggles to come to terms with his loneliness. Luckily for him the new Spaniard in town offers not only someone to talk to, but also a way to get back at his ex, for the both of them.

The life they led was dangerous, one full of risks. The constant threat to your life, the people you love. There is no way for you to come out of this without scars, both mentally and physically. Most people would stay away from the gang life, if they weren’t tempted enough by the money. But for some people, there is no choice to be made.
Lando grew up around gangs, it’s all he’s ever known. He knew he was living his life on a wire, not knowing if and when he would fall. He longed for someone to catch him if he fell, yet he didn’t know when he would find that.
If he would ever find it at all.

Summary
First it was her parents. Then Riley, and then Tess. Sam and Henry came next. At fourteen, all Ellie knew was loss. She should be used to it by now- expect it, even. What she didn't expect was to become so fond and attached to the grumpy, emotionally-unavailable smuggler that's spent the last three months protecting her at all cost. Despite her initial doubts, they were in this together now. Or at least they were, until Ellie finds out Joel's plan all along had been to ditch her the very first chance he got.

Summary
Joel doesn't give Ellie a choice. The morning after their argument, Tommy comes and takes Ellie away. She barely says a word to Joel. He stays behind as Tommy and Ellie go off to find the fireflies at the university. What Joel doesn't expect is for Ellie, months later, to show up dragging Tommy's half-dead body on a sled behind her, with his blood on both of their clothes. Something happened out there. To Tommy, but also to Ellie.
TLDR// What if Tommy took Ellie to the university instead of Joel? Tommy still gets hurt, Ellie still comes across David, but instead of continuing on, she gets them back to Jackson... back to Joel.
