He flicks through the folder, though he purposefully tilts it so that TK can't see what's inside. After a few seconds, Carlos pulls out a printed photo. It's got writing on the back that's partially covered by Carlos' hand, but TK can make out the number five scrawled in sharpie. Carlos looks at him and hesitates before flipping the photo for TK to see. "I need you to remember that you're safe here, alright?" he says.
Safe? TK thinks. It didn't exactly occur to him to question that, but then he looks down at the photo in Carlos' hands and gasps. The picture is of him in what is clearly their apartment building's lobby. He's waiting on the elevator with a grocery bag in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other, completely oblivious to the fact that he's being photographed.

A few months into their marriage, life throws TK and Carlos a curveball in the form of a stalker. Carlos decides to do the only thing he knows how to: he's going to protect his husband, no matter what it takes.

Summary
For better or worse, TK inherited the Sight: the Strand family's ability to see ghosts. It's usually a benign thing, just a few extra strangers on the sidewalk that no one else can see. But it's marked his life in many ways, especially in his attempts at escaping it. By starting over in Austin, the plan was to be normal, and adjusted, and happy again. But Austin has ghosts of its own, and it doesn't take long for TK to realize that there's no outrunning who he is, especially when something nasty starts haunting his new found family.

It had been six months since Brian had last seen Dom and his crew, six months since Brian had betrayed them, six months since Brian had let Dom walk, six months since Brian had lost his job, six months since Brian and Rome had taken down Verone and now? Now he was sitting in a room with his boss – again – Federal Agent Bilkins and some other self conceited assholes that Brian had no interest in talking to.
Brian had been living in the back of Harry's again ever since he'd gotten back from Miami, Harry had welcome'd him the minute he set foot in his shop again, pestering him with questions asking where he'd been and Brian had just shrugged off his concerns, insisting it was nothing, of course he hadn't bought it but let it go seeing how exhausted and beat Brian had looked.
That was an understatement to say the least.
When Brian was in Miami he couldn't remember the last time he had slept, he couldn't really, he was either with Rome doing some shit for Verone, or with Bilkins who was making sure that Brian wouldn't try to skip town on him, not that he would if he could.
