Summary
Jack Desmond, a normal cartoon office worker, lives a life of peace in the Toon Genre when he stumbles upon a wounded stranger in a dark alleyway and, against his better judgment, brings him home. Gavriel Huffman, a scary mobster boss from the Grim Genre, awakens patched up in an unknown apartment, finding himself being taken care of by a nervous yet earnest cartoon man.
As the Grim man begrudgingly accepts the Toon's help, the two strangers learn to coexist under one roof and shenanigans ensue as Gavriel's sudden appearance is met with suspicion by people in Jack's life.

Summary
Krieg and Maya set out on a mission to find sanctuary, the last stronghold of the crimson Raiders. Krieg has some issues, but then again, when does he not? After a few not-to-plan events, they find themselves chasing moonshots to the doomed secret base in order to deliver a power core that will save the day.
The Crimson Raiders are non-too-happy having a psycho in their midst and force Maya to make a choice. But when the unthinkable happens, Maya and Krieg help with their plan to save the city.
Nothing ever goes according to plan, however, and some last minute heroics are needed to thwart the regrettably alive Handsome Jack.
When the dust settles, will Krieg and Maya be allowed a place in The Crimson Raiders? Will they stay together?
Sanctuary? Krieg was sure he’d already been to that place. Knew the feeling of belonging and home. The pinch Damon gives to Fey’s thigh is harsh enough to make him shriek, but it has the desired effect of shutting him up. He shoves Fey’s head down, pressing his face into the pillows, and says, “Pets don’t speak.” He only lets up when Fey manages to nod, a desperate movement beneath the pressure of his hand, and he feels a dark satisfaction at the way Fey jerks his head up and gasps for air.
