Whumptober Day 6: Pinned to a Wall
How many more times was something going to happen or was someone going to get hurt before they listened to his advice? He was the vet of the group, he has seen more dungeons than anyone else has, experienced things that they hadn't. Sometimes they listened, but sometimes his words fell on deaf ears for his concerns must be ill placed this time around. Unfortunately, this time around, not being listened to wound him up pinned against a wall by debris and unable to move.
Surely they'd learn to listen now right?

Day 5 of Whumptober: Dream Journal
Zelda was no stranger to her brother and his troubles with rest. The adventures of his past kept him awake and haunted him at night, heavy things weighing on his head that he surely would want to be rid of. She suggests he get a dream journal, something for him to get his thoughts and emotions down on paper so he could hopefully start getting better nights of sleep and most importantly; letting go of the past.
Legend didn't think it would be worth it but agrees nonetheless.

Summary
For the longest time, the only thing that had been on Gloves’ mind was striving to be the coolest, to move up the ranks of popularity, to be a name that people thought about and cheered for. Over the years, he had done a pretty good job at meeting those things, chasing after what he wanted and being able to forget…mostly of his problems of the past. That all seems to change when the biggest problem of his past is the very same person who he was told he has to make out in a closet with at a party.
From the moment those doors opened up again, he knew he was screwed and that his life was on a very different path than he had anticipated.

“I broke things off with Nai’o,” Kenyatta says, pretty much out-of-the-blue.
She’s sitting at the bar, a sweet-root smash in her hands, and Reth, who is just trying to get through the early evening and into his next shift, freezes in place.
“Whoa,” is all he can think to say.
Slinging drinks and making soup is easy. The therapist part of being an innkeep? Challenging.
Nai’o hates Reth. Reth didn’t have strong feelings about Nai’o, really. But after a steamy storeroom encounter, his opinion changes. For the worse.
Then, eventually, for the better.

Mask has lived with the S4 for a few years now. It's been tough. He's made sure to be a good roommate, made sure to take care of himself on occasion, and cause no problems. When Splatsville's new trainline cuts him off from his friends however, he's left to talk only with his roommates. Army, Aloha, and Skull. They're not the same childhood friends he usually goes through depressive episodes with, so it might just be the final straw...
