Summary
Adam closed the door behind him; he stood in front of the mirror-cabinet. Welcoming another day of emptiness, brought upon him by the prescription. He peeled open the mirror compartment, and reached for the cyan box reading ‘Haloperidol’ in bold font that sat on the shelf. He flipped it around to scan the instructions. Regardless of the fact that he’d done this bit habitually, it felt like the words would shift if he skipped over the information just once.
Adam is forced to take his medication lest he lose something he loves. Until he finds something, rather, someone he'd give up his medication for a more 'real' experience.
