Summary
When the Doctor stranded the Master in 1943, he was left to make mischief on his own for decades. And on the top of his target list is Martha Jones, who, in 2015, is having troubles of her own. Even though Martha and her family survived The Year That Never Was, they never fully recovered. Plagued with lasting physical and mental effects, their existence is mired with despair, guilt and rage.
So when a certain man in a purple suit shows up and says he’s the Doctor, Martha’s all too happy to see him. But little does she know the Time Lord is the source of the guilt, rage, and despair that’s plagued her for the past eight years.
But the Master isn’t the only one with an insidious agenda. The Doctor is searching for him. And when she finds him, she plans to inflict a horrific fate that might just destroy a big chunk of the universe, if she's not careful. And she won't be.

Grian wakes up in a weird abyss. All he remembers is a fun little murder game between friends, and he has the scars to prove it.
Scott, against all odds, is the final person standing. And then he isn't, and Grian is crouched above him with panic and relief written over his face.
Pearl is panting wildly, and she flinches when Scott goes to hug her. She looks haunted.
Maybe the three of them can make something of this.
