Where once upon a time the Sully's must learn the way of water, here, the Metkayina must learn the way of the forest. Come to love it, and all the people that call it home. The first time Tooru sees Iwaizumi drunk, it’s a Friday during the off-season when he’s sitting on Iwaizumi’s second-hand sofa with a bottle of subpar beer in his hand and a cheese pizza on the coffee table.
It’s shocking, actually, that it’s taken all of twenty-two years for Tooru to finally see his boyfriend drunk. So shocking that he has to set his beer down when Iwaizumi slides up next to him, leaning in close, cheeks ruddy and mouth wet from the alcohol.
It’s shocking, and totally not what Tooru would have expected—
Because when Iwaizumi is drunk, he’s apparently clingy.

He significantly closer now, face pleasant and unassuming. Ushijima’s heart is racing again, and he think he’s about to feel sick. He swallows his sudden nerves away. He’s being irrational.
“It’s more convenient if you said what both of those things are, correct?”
Tendou raises a brow and then laughs. “I like that answer. Very well.”
He’s flush with the table and points to the notebook on Ushijima’s desk.
“If you want to get this diagram right. I have extra classes on this. You can join if you want since it’s free. I’m always in the library.” He winks.
Ushijima has two options. He can:
1) Cover his face because he knows he’s blushing
2) Cover his horrible diagram
3) Be Ushijima Wakatoshi who will do neither of those things.Series
