Summary
Post-GM
When the world ended, Rachel trusted herself to Khepri's care. She gave herself willingly, and something of the girl Khepri used to be managed to cling to that anchor. Now, in the ruins of the world Khepri left behind, Rachel chose her again.
Khepri didn't love her. She couldn't. She didn't know how. But perhaps it was the closest thing to love she was capable of.

Summary
Everyone deserved a second chance. That's what Victoria believed. That's what she had to believe. Everyone, but especially Taylor.
Victoria should've seen the signs. She'd seen her every day, spoke to her almost as often. Her and Taylor had worked side by side. And Victoria had never even suspected something was wrong until it was too late.
She'd spent every day since then regretting not doing something more.
Finally, she'd been given a chance to make things right, and she refused to let it pass her by.

Summary
When the heroes swept through Brockton Bay, systematically slaughtering every clone left behind by Echidna, one escaped.
When its original found it, huddled in the sewers, she didn't even bother to kill it.
She did something far worse.
She gave it mercy.

Summary
- The Tower XVI -
'Representing destruction, upheaval, chaos, ambitions and goals made on false premises.'It wasn't Taylor's fault the outside world terrified her. It wasn't her fault she spent 7 years locked in her home, horrified at the thought of going outside. That was fine. She could live with that. She could do more than just live. She could be a hero. She could help people. She could save people... all without ever leaving her room. Even as her body fell apart, even as her mental health declined more and more. She could help people.
And at the end of it all, she could find love. She could find someone who would help take care of her when she couldn't take care of herself. She could find a place where she was finally safe.
It only made sense.
Every Dragon needed a Princess. And every Princess needed a Tower.
(Inspired by the absolutely rancid snip by CowEnthusiast, 'Hatsune Dragon'. It infests my brain, and I must fumigate the property by writing a happier version.)
