Summary
Kaya, Archer, and Jonathan all become heroes for their own reasons. Kaya, to avenge her father's death. Archer, to become a helping change and follow in the steps of his own savior. Jonathan, since he is Archer's friend for life and has nothing better to do. The three quickly become a group, finding comfort in each other and working hard to take down the overall gang presence in Los Angeles. Liam is a proud young hero with a strong focus on keeping morals and his friend Christine there to stick by his side. In a question of morals, ideals may come in the way of results, and stop the effort that they all seem to share.

Summary
Written in two perspectives. Kaya and Archer meet each other in the shady prison they were thrown into, each there for different reasons. Kaya was framed for the death of her entire family, though it was her father in his psychotic break that caused the death of her mother and sister. In self defense, she killed her father. From an out side view though, very few believe this story and she is sentenced to life in prison with no parole. Archer and his life long friend Jonathan have had their run-ins with the law, but their most recent adventure ended with murder and both being arrested. It doesn’t take long for the two main characters to meet, Archer inviting Kaya into his self made gang. Though an unlikely group, they may be the best things to happen to each other.

Summary
He just went back to grab his bag, but naturally he managed to knock the books on the counter over, the top one falling to the floor, opening in the middle. For a second he wondered if he should just leave it - Mrs. K always knew when he touched something he wasn’t supposed to, no matter how careful he was - but he couldn't just leave it there.
Miles straightened the tomes, noticing a second too late that his fingers were covered in some kind of powder. In the dim light it looked like good ol’ dust, so he didn't think anything of it, rubbing his hands together to get rid of it. He closed the shop and looked at his watch, swearing under his breath and breaking out in a jog. He only had six minutes to get to the station.

Red Hood’s modulated voice is bone-chilling. Nearly every sleaze-bag in Crime Alley had become accustomed to the gravely robotic nature of it. The unnatural shifts in his words and the variations in pitch being just ever so slightly off putting. Borderline uncanny, yet everyone who’s heard it knows there’s a human behind that voice. A man who choses to blow a hole through someone’s skull without so much of an afterthought.
Though, no one had ever heard that voice scream.
Not until tonight.
Or, Red Hood is captured, Nightwing saves him and while helping him afterwards, puts the wrong puzzle pieces together and confronts him which does not go quite how he planned.
