    Percy was a good older brother. He took the punishments so that Tyson never felt a single hit. He took care of Estelle because their mom worked herself exhausted with no complaint.

    He also worked a job to make sure that they could eat in the mornings before school or daycare and he made sure that they never had to worry about Gabe in the morning.

    And he made sure that their homework was done on time, and they were tucked in at night. He also shared his room with them without complaint.

    He did everything that was asked of him without complaint.

    But Percy longed for a chance to escape and just be himself for more than five mere moments at a time throughout the week.

    But that didn't mean he wanted Poseidon to come in and take his siblings from him, and he would fight tooth and nail to get them home again.

    “Tyson, come on.” Percy grabbed the blanket, gently beginning to tug it off of Tyson. He never fully pulled it off the boy, but he did consistently tug it until Tyson got annoyed with him and got up. “We have school today.”

    “No.” Tyson held out his ‘o’ for a couple of moments before nuzzling into his pillow again.

    In one tapestry, the gods were blessed with a plethora of children and descendants. But with so many blessings, their once joy at their children turned to expectation and ambivalence. The fates were all but tangled in the abundant threads they had at their fingertips to work into their weaves.

    Another much more tragic tapestry was threadbare in comparison. The Fates having little to work with. Their work thin and frayed from over worked and broken threads.

    Surely no one would notice if some threads went missing from an over full basket?
