Lukas always knew he'd be back at his childhood home. The draw to it had never faded. He should have seen all the warnings, listened to everyone around him. But only one voice matters. The only one that can break him in the end.
[The hardest part is simply that there's no physical interaction, just whispers against his cheek, his neck, his hand, leaving him with an inexplicable ache in his chest. It's not enough, and they pretend it is.]
(Sorta trigger warnings? Vague suicidal thoughts and mental illness, though both are paranormally-driven.)
