    Dehydration and dry skin were common side effects of suppressants - they dry up the glands that secrete the potent hormones that Alphas and Omegas experience during their monthly ruts and heats. Normally these reactions can be lessened by drinking more water and bulking up on body lotion and chapstick.

    But the hormonal glands aren't the only ones to whither like raisins under the influence of suppressants - both the exocrine and endocrine systems were subject to its dehydrating effects. So as a future Pro Hero with a quirk that activates with sweat, the choice boiled down to a hard nope, fuck that. No suppressants.

    The peace of his classmates be damned.

    Alpha Bakugou Katsuki is allergic to suppressants, and Todoroki Shouto is a Beta with a grudge. Together they strike a deal that swiftly exceeds anything they'd bargained for.

    “I’m Bakugou. What’s your name, Pretty Boy?”

    Shouto looks at the drink in his hand, then back to the beautiful blonde boy, then back to the drink and downs it in one go, ignoring the slight burn as it slides down his throat, and while it would have been more suave to appear unaffected, he gives his head a little shake. He takes a quick breath and forces the words out before he has a chance to realize what a massive mistake this all is.

    “Hot blondes I want to bang can call me Shouto.”

     

    Deku's been gushing about his pathetic crush on his new friend, Todoroki, the entire time Bakugou's been away for his semester of Study Abroad, and now that he's back, Bakugou is finally going to get them together so he never has to hear about it again.
    The plan is foolproof: Bakugou's going to wingman Deku straight into his crush's pants at the big back to school rager. It all goes awry when Deku winds up having to take care of a sick Uraraka instead of coming to the party. Luckily, Bakugou meets a hot stranger named Shouto to take home and winds up falling for him.

    “Fine.” He tries hard not to sound as angry and hurt as he feels. He’s probably going to have to take some of this rage out on Deku or Kaminari, though. “Throw your time away with Sparky the Wonder Mutt, and lounge around in bed. Just makes my path to number one that much easier.”

    Todoroki rolls his eyes again and reaches out to tug the door closed but stops just before it snicks shut.

    “Bros before hoes, Katsuki. I’ll see you this afternoon.”
