It was a joke. Kat only pretended to be an NPC in her private server with their friends for the funnies! It was just a bit! How the hell were they supposed to know it would end with them being trapped in the game?!
Ok, well, yeah, the NPCs literally talking to her when she did that probably should have been a tip off, but hindsight is 20/20 alright? Whatever. Might as well make the most of it, right?
