Summary
Pomni and Ragatha make it out, but somehow find themselves alone in an unfamiliar city, separated from the others with no explanation and no idea where everyone else ended up. Worse, the escape seems to have left them with more questions than answers.
As Christine and Cathy, they have to navigate the real world together while trying to piece together who they were before the Circus, and who they are now.
Cathy remembers more than she lets on.
Especially when it comes to Christine.
And as the two of them are forced to rely on each other, late-night walks, a cheap motel room, and too much unresolved history make one thing increasingly difficult to ignore:
Cathy's feelings for Christine didn't disappear when they escaped.
Maybe they just finally have room to become something more.
