Summary

Back in the city, Thatch had two insanely successful restaurants. His first project was famous for lobsters cooked in butter, served with oysters and a stunning seaside view. The second was a minimalist bar in the city, serving grilled pork chops and roasted onions.
One day, he sold both places and moved to the desert to start a washed-up diner.
“I wanted to slow down,” Thatch said when Ace asked. “The business was fun and all, but there’s something wholesome ‘bout starting from scratch and doing everything yourself. I want to connect with that again.”
Ace shrugged. He’s not good with abstract stuff. He just thought Thatch’s the coolest, hottest guy he’d met in a long time.
