Summary
What if after Byleth went missing, the war took a turn for the worst for Edelgard and the Empire.
Two years after the war, Thales, angered that Edelgard isn’t obeying him anymore, causes a coup and the Emperor, who’s mostly alone as her classmates are angered by her lies, barley escapes execution. Thales takes control of the Empire and continues the war under Edelgard’s name, bringing atrocities to Fodlan.
Meanwhile. The Kingdom and Church unite, and are stronger than ever. With great momentum, they want to use the war to unify Fodlan under the Chruch and anyone that disagrees with Rhea’s ideals is executed. This causes Claude and the Alliance to unify under neutrality as they fend of invasions from both sides.
5 years later, Byleth finally returns to the Monastery, to find a wounded, exiled, and totally broken Edelgard. Will she be able to bring her student back to her former self, and will the world they dream of become a reality ?
