To his surprise, Sky grows quiet. A sweet flair of blush across her freckled face, stray curls intermingling with the rims of her golden framed glasses. A soft smile that reaches her eyes. And she was smiling at *him*. The mere thought makes his heart beat increase. What was this? He tries to wrestle his expression into something more neutral.
"Ms. Young..."
She looks at him over her glasses, the sight hitting Viktor like a train. She's so doe-eyed, so ...skittish. "....Yes?"
He watches an air of anxiety fill her, her body tensing ever so slightly. No, no, *what*? Why did she look so afraid? He didn't want to *scare* her. He needed to say something. Quick.
"Stay."
OR
Sky asks Viktor to walk her home and he says yes this time.

A distinct ticking sound echoed through the room, vibrantly hopping off of each empty wall space, each piece of machinery which harboured hours upon hours of their work, creating that oh so familiar sound that served as a reminder of the lonely emptiness which can only imitate from the monotone reverberating reminder of the size of one's environment.
If it was a comfortingly grounding sound a few hours ago, he wouldn't know it, as now he could only focus on barely holding himself from tossing the nearby screwdriver at the source of his annoyance. What previously only served as an equivalent of someone constantly tapping his shoulder to inform him of how miserably he'll feel in the morning, has now become closer to someone yelling in his face about the consequences of his disregard for himself for the near future.Or; a oneshot character depiction/assessment of Viktor getting lost in thought during one of his all-nighters
