Amidst their scenarios, Kim Dokja carries out the splendid idea of abusing his Demon King transformation powers to stay awake for over a week so he can endlessly plan ahead and make sure everything goes swimmingly. Everything, however, does not go swimmingly when Han Sooyoung catches on and asks him to turn back into his normal form. He promptly passes out, to the dismay (but not the surprise) of everyone.

Of course Kim Dokja awoke feeling worse than before. From childhood all the way to adulthood, he had never been able to bounce back easily from anything. Often, his one sick day would turn into a week, bedridden and miserable.
He figured some of it was due to his poor health. Too skinny, always weak. There was no way a person like that could build a strong immune system. It was unfair. But then he figured, the rest of it might be due to his lack of self care. (Surely there was a reason books and tv shows always showed sick people getting pampered with soups and cool towels. )
Though in his defense—no one ever taught him how.

The pain was so intense, Beomgyu couldn’t even really think. He wasn’t sure he wanted to. He had been thinking before, and look where that had gotten him? He didn’t have his phone with him, or any way to get up and leave or go back into the building. He was so soaked that he couldn’t even really feel the rain pour on top of him any longer, or feel the frigid chilly air. He couldn’t tell that he was still crying and screaming. He could tell that everything hurt. It ached and burned. He just wanted it to be over. He wanted this whole day to be over. He wanted to go back to the dorms, with the members. He wanted them to hold him and tell him that everything was okay. That wasn't going to happen though, They wouldn’t want to do that. Those thoughts were just selfish.
Time passed; Beomgyu was completely unaware of any of it. Before long he got his wish. The pain faded into stars, his body too weak to keep total darkness from taking over his vision.Bookmarked by Surin

Summary
Beomgyu might’ve teased some of the members for contracting small infections here and there. Things like a stuffed nose or light fevers or just sore throats. He had been exceptionally healthy that he usually ended up taking care of them.
He didn’t mind having to force them down when they’d try to fight him by telling him their comeback is soon and the choreography needs more perfection. It was a pure irony that when he woke up with a blurred vision, teary eyes, and a hot and aching body that he tried to hide it.
