He imagined Ricky sitting across from him, soft brown eyes that always asked without words, hair falling like sunlight over his cheek. He imagined the faint brush of a smile, the tilt of the head that made Gyuvin forget he was sitting on a living room floor, that made him forget the world even existed.
Ricky’s presence was everywhere and nowhere. He could taste it if he tried. Not the person, not really. Not the voice. But the aftertaste, the echo of every small touch that had ever made him dizzy without moving. He could almost trace the memory of it on his own lips, if he concentrated.
Hanbin’s panic swelled in the background. “Okay, stop panicking. Okay. Think. Where’s your—oh, fuck.”

"Do you not like it?"
It sounded overly familiar, like the repeat of the last time Ricky'd gotten a tattoo. Which felt wrong, because they were no longer the same Ricky and Gyuvin from almost two years ago, and yet the response hurt all the same. His side stung slightly – all of it did.
"No! Of course I do; it's just..." He frowned, shaking his head as if chasing away an unpleasant thought. "How long will it take to heal?"
"Around six months, but it should be fine-"
Gyuvin cleared his throat then, gingerly placing his hand on Ricky's hip and guiding him to the side as he shot up abruptly, refusing to even meet his gaze now. Like a cornered deer trying to escape its certain death.
Gyuvin starts acting weird after Ricky gets his second tattoo, and that's not at all the reaction Ricky expected.
