He imagined the faint brush of a smile, the tilt of the head that made Gyuvin forget he was sitting on a living room floor, that made him forget the world even existed.
Ricky’s presence was everywhere and nowhere. He could taste it if he tried. Not the person, not really. Not the voice. But the aftertaste, the echo of every small touch that had ever made him dizzy without moving. He could almost trace the memory of it on his own lips, if he concentrated.
Hanbin’s panic swelled in the background. “Okay, stop panicking. Okay. Think. Where’s your—oh, fuck.”

It sounded overly familiar, like the repeat of the last time Ricky'd gotten a tattoo. Which felt wrong, because they were no longer the same Ricky and Gyuvin from almost two years ago, and yet the response hurt all the same. His side stung slightly – all of it did.
"No! Of course I do; it's just..." He frowned, shaking his head as if chasing away an unpleasant thought. "How long will it take to heal?"
"Around six months, but it should be fine-"
Gyuvin cleared his throat then, gingerly placing his hand on Ricky's hip and guiding him to the side as he shot up abruptly, refusing to even meet his gaze now. Like a cornered deer trying to escape its certain death.
Gyuvin starts acting weird after Ricky gets his second tattoo, and that's not at all the reaction Ricky expected.

Ricky’s chest tightened. That same easygoing, playful tone. The one Gyuvin always used when he was trying to brush something off.
“But what if they’re not making it up?” Ricky’s voice was barely above a whisper, but the words hung heavy in the air.
Gyuvin’s fingers stopped moving entirely.Ricky finally turned his head, looking up at him. His heart was pounding so hard it felt like Gyuvin could probably hear it.
“I just…” Ricky’s throat felt dry, but he forced the words out anyway. “I don’t think it’s that funny.”
Gyuvin’s expression shifted, his playful mask slipping just enough for Ricky to see the hesitation underneath.
“Why?”Ricky’s gaze didn’t waver. “Because… I don’t want it to be a joke.”

Perhaps Ricky's lost his mind or rather it's more likely that Gyuvin broke it. Gyuvin’s ruined him with his hands and his touch and his presence and Ricky isn’t sure he can go back to how they were before. Not after he’s seen how his face looks when he lets himself go. Not after he’s heard all the sweet sounds Gyuvin makes only for him.
He’s being selfish, sure, but he doesn’t care. He’s always been somewhat possessive when it comes to Gyuvin and he doesn’t want anyone else to be bothered by this problem he created. That’s it, right? He’s being selfless. Ricky will take care of this just as he has with everything else. He’s selfless and his heart is so big and it’s only this big for Gyuvin and Gyuvin alone.
And either way, it’s mutually beneficial. Ricky’s getting just as much out of it as Gyuvin is. He’s being a good friend and helping him. It’s an act of his friendship, so he doesn’t see why it has to be a big deal.
They’re just two best friends who were helping each other get off. It doesn't have to be a big deal.
