As far as you can tell, it's the Hotel or death. You don't have much of a reason to believe that redemption either does or doesn't work, you just aren't going to waste your second shot at life, even if it is life in Hell. Plenty of entertaining things down here, after all. Maybe it's time to take some chances, and maybe there's a certain Demon looking for someone that doesn't know the whole story about him.
(Please note the word count is slightly inflated due to the smut chapters having two copies of certain parts so that the protagonist has genitals that match the readers preference. It's still longer than 10,000 words, but I prefer transparency in my descriptions)
