They never thought that revenge would come before they met the new kid in school, who seems to understand their need for revenge in a way no one else has.Basically a story based on the I'm Not Okay music video but with murder.

Summary
don't knock the title, okay, i started a trend with the first fic's title and by god am i going to stick with it.
this series is basically just going to be fics about illi mcmillin and co set in the same universe. the first fic is just about illi coming out to ray, frank, and mikey. the second one i plan to go over the canon (?) events of the "i'm not okay (i promise)" music video (bullying, the creation of the song, croquet, etc). the third fic, if it happens, is probably going to be petekey but i haven't fully decided if i'm going to actually write that one or not. here's hoping i don't lose all my motivation in the middle of this!

“Sometimes,” He ponders. Whether a secret should remain as such. Frank was his best friend. Is his best friend. His hand sits on his chest and he counts the beats that come. To and fro like the sea caught in a storm. “Sometimes I wanna be a girl.” He swallows hard. “Well, more like all the time.”
It was Frank’s turn to gawk. Face redder than before. Admires the splay of Gerard’s hair as it fans out against the blanket. The night is so quiet. So quiet and suddenly Gerard is prettier than he’s ever been.
“I think…you would make a good girl.” He immediately regrets saying it. Shakes his head. Scrunches his face. “Do make a good girl.”
Gerard smiles small. They're looking at each other now. And Frank means it. Means it so much, it does something to his skin. Like some electric dome and it's surrounding him. Surrounding them. Frank smiles back, just as small.
