    Summary

When Stiles finally managed to contort himself the right way without causing injury, he stared at the words on his inner thigh. And then he stared some more, long enough for the water to grow cold around him, wondering if this was part of the dream. Finally he decided that it had to be real only because his subconscious was not creative enough to come up with this.

There, in freckle-brown letters stark against pale skin, was the name Jackson Whittemore.

[sent at 8:14 A.M.] Oikawa-san, I don't care how hungover you are, please come clean my apartment (the one you wrecked last night with your partying) and collect the puppy you left in my living room. I expect you at 9. Or else, there'll be consequences.

[sent at 8:16 A.M.] who is this and how the fuck did u get my number?

"It makes sense if you think about it," Iwaizumi told him. "A soulmate line is the first sentence your significant other will tell you when you first encounter them. But the books never specified whether that encounter had to be physical."

Kyoutani frowned, looking at his upperclassman in wonder. "Iwaizumi-san, this means...?"

"Yeah," he chuckled back, pointing at his cellphone, "that guy right there is your soulmate."

    Summary

When his thirteenth birthday comes, Akaashi should be elated.

    Instead, he is worried.

"WWOOOAH, YOU HAVE GOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING I HAVE EVER SEEN - NO, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING THE WORLD HAS EVER BEEN BLESSED WITH...CAN I TOUCH YOU?!"

The words are found in the smooth space between his shoulder blades, written in the messy but readable scrawl of his 'soulmate', the print dark and strangely beautiful, the letters filled with artistic loops and curls that were enchantingly unique.

    And in all caps.

    Akaashi was worried. Very worried.

"It’s been five months," Derek says darkly. "Why am I still getting these proposals? You know these are probably all fake marks."

Five months since the paparazzi had snapped that photo of him with the overzealous fan tugging at his shirt, five months since millions of people on the Internet realized that the birthmark revealed was in fact, the mark, five months Derek was inundated by claims from people who desperately wanted him to believe that they were his soul-mate.

    Summary

“For those of you who just transferred into this class or simply decided that day one wasn’t important enough to attend, I’m Professor Hale. Welcome to English 346, The American Novel.”

Stiles is pretty sure his mouth is hanging open right now and that his eyes are wide with shock, because holy fuck, he thinks he knows why his students transferred. Hell, if he was still an undergrad, he probably would have transferred, too.

(Or: In which Stiles is a Biology professor and Derek thinks he's a student.)
