Chloe throws up her hands as her face splits into a grin. “Unbelievable,” she says, with mock exasperation that he knows so well. “Nine months of carrying her under my heart, hours of labor, and she turns out to be a daddy’s girl.”
Huffing, Lucifer takes a step towards her, smiling when she tilts her head up to look at him. He slips his thumbs into the belt loops of her jeans and pulls her closer. “Her first word notwithstanding, she is definitely a mummy’s girl, darling.”
“Mhm,” Chloe hums, sliding her index finger up his chest. “Mommy absolutely loves her, but Mommy isn’t wrapped around her little finger unlike someone.”

She gnaws on her gum. Shifts, slightly, to ebb the ache between her legs. He stares at his hand, lost in thought, and she resists the urge to ask him, please, to just fucking kiss her already.
But that would be begging. And — more importantly — that would prove Lucifer Morningstar right.
So she prepares to unclasp her necklace, or peel off her socks, or fling a piece of lint from her pants, because if this is how he wants to play then she can certainly keep up.
“Shirt,” he says, without looking up from his glass.
She freezes.
He must sense her silence, or her failure to move, because he looks up with black eyes flashing in the dark.
“Detective,” he echoes, voice dangerously low. “Take off your shirt.”

After a failed party and a broken engagement, Chloe shows up at Lucifer's door.

"Vex opens her eyes and looks over at Percy, who has frozen, kneeling next to her pack, something from within it held in his two hands. 'What is it, darling?' she asks, sitting up.
Percy turns to her, eyebrows raised, and holds up a smooth, slender piece of glass. It was wrapped in several pieces of cloth, but they’ve fallen away, and it shines faintly in the light from the fireplace. It’s seven or eight inches long, slightly curved, and flared at one end, then tapering until it flares again into a head at the tip.
'Ah,' Vex says.
'Quite,' Percy says."
Percy finds something that belongs to Vex. After testing, he takes it upon himself to make some improvements.
