Summary
“You sure you still want to do this, baby?”
Eddie laid beneath you on the bed. Inky black tendrils formed beautiful handcuffs that pinned his hands above his head. More tendrils trailed down his legs, wrapping around his ankles and holding them in place. More of Venom’s form oozed out his chest, wrapping around it to create a harness. Venom’s bondage was paired with the black leather collar Eddie wore. They reminded him of who he belonged to.

Summary
Eddie stared at himself in the mirror. His eyes were glossed over, the white of his sclera expanded over his irises, giving them the same milky, iridescent shimmer as his Other’s.
“Darling,” he started, pressing his hand to the skin of his chest. “Have you done something to my eyes?”
The symbiote stirred inside of him, pressing against the underside of his skin. A question flowed through their bond to Eddie, like a dog tilting their head in response to their owner.
“My eyes. They’re opalescent like yours.”
OR
A spiritual successor to my fic "Make Me Yours" except it's with comics Eddie and he's a freak.

Summary
“Is everything okay, Eddie?” Venom asked, their head emerging from his back to rest on his shoulder.
“Yeah, love. Just… writer’s block. I feel like every sentence I write is clunky and wrong.”
“Take a break,” they suggested. “Your brain will figure out the problem while you sleep tonight, according to the books we’ve been reading.”
OR
A slice of life domestic fic.

Summary
“So… I died, you decided I was a nice enough guy to save, and that made this… codon?” Eddie asked, staring blankly at the palms of his hands.
“Codex.” Venom corrected. “And yes. Because we bonded again that night, our souls fused together and that birthed a codex.”
“Is a codex like a physical thing or is it more of a magical thing that Kn— this creator can somehow use?”
“It is physical,” they replied. Their tendrils gingerly wrapped around his hands. The undulating sensation reminded Eddie of someone running their thumbs across his hands. “That is how the xenophages can hunt us. They’re able to see the codex in us, but only when we are fully formed.”
“Where… where is the codex? ‘Cuz it’s gotta be somewhere in my body, right?”

Summary
"Under the regular harsh yellow glow of the lightbulbs, there’s nothing special about the mold. It’s like any other mold, really; it's disgusting. But under the natural light of the moon, it shimmers. The darkened tendrils take an iridescent hue, deep purples and blues bleeding into each other. It’s beautiful and entrapping. I’ve followed those hues for hours, desperately trying to understand how such filth could be so breathtaking.
And that’s what is terrifying. It lures me in with its beauty. Its pull is stronger than it has ever been. I enter a stupor when I’m near it, and it pulls me towards it. I sit on the floor of my bedroom and just stare at it. The shimmer, that iridescent shine of purples and blues, lures me to it. It invites me to sit with it, with nothing distracting me from its beauty and love.
And once its elegance entrances me, it begins whispering to me.
It whispers that I am divine. It tells me that I could join it, become one with it, and be fulfilled in every way I could ever imagine."

“We are not done having that conversation, Venom,” Eddie said sternly.

Summary
“Eddie! Look at that person’s backpack!”
He looked around the restaurant and saw the same customer who had stood in front of him earlier, sitting alone. Their backpack was placed next to them, facing outward, letting Eddie see all of the pins on it.
We recognize one of those pins! Venom fixed their gaze on one of the pins at the top of their backpack. It was a flag— a nine-striped flag of alternating navy blue and black stripes with a white stripe in the middle. The flag had a little red heart in the top right corner. Oh.
“How the hell do you know what that one is?” Eddie asked incredulously.

Summary
Eddie leaned into the more monstrous side of the transformation. The sweet embrace of the tendrils, weaving across his body and twisting it into something new, made his heart race. His face shifting, his teeth elongating and sharpening, his tongue growing, his eyes shifting into glossy, iridescent white made him feel more comfortable in his own skin. Which was odd, considering it wasn’t truly his skin.

Summary
“Are you... are you actually called a symbiote? Or is that a name Drake came up with?”
Venom paused. “Drake did come up with that name for us,” they stated.
“Do you want me to call you something else?”“Symbiote is acceptable; it accurately describes what we are.”
“You sure?” he asked. “If there’s a proper name for your species I’ll gladly use it. I don’t want you to be defined by that psychopath.” A shudder ran down his spine at the memory of Drake.
They fell uncharacteristically silent. Eddie tried tapping into their bond to get a glimpse of their feelings, but he couldn’t. Venom had completely blocked him out.
“Vee, you okay?” he asked tentatively.
“Symbiote is fine.” They stated coldly.

Summary
“Is that really how you should be treating your host, sweetheart?”
The word left his mouth before he could think about what it meant. He prayed Venom didn’t know what it meant or just wouldn’t notice it.
Language can only explain so much. It was developed to accurately describe the human experience, so when used to explain something that is distinctly not human, it fails. Sweetheart was just one of the words that expresses the type of connection they have. There are no exact words for the bond they have, so using it doesn’t mean it’s like that, right?
