Summary
In a world where alphas and omegas are a rarity, and betas have a notoriously low fertility, Cho Hyunju, alpha, commits the unthinkable crime. She transitions fully, rendering herself sterile. It costs her everything. Her family, her friends, her job. Her dream of ever becoming a parent. But she endures. Moves on. Finds a place for herself amongst the cheerful misfits. Tells herself it’s all she needs.
And then Junhee, her roommate, her best friend, a beta beating the odds, gets pregnant.
Newly moved in next door, Gyeongseok’s past makes him harbour a deep mistrust for alphas. He tries to keep his daughter Nayeon, always too curious, too trusting, at a safe distance. Fails utterly himself, once he realizes there’s a baby on the way. That the woman next door is not anything at all like his past. Could maybe even be his future, if he dares to let her in.

Summary
It starts as mere pleasure. An indulgence.
There’s nothing personal about it. That’s not the arrangement they have. That’s not anything he will ever allow. Gyeongseok is unapologetic. Confident, with a bite to him that makes her shudder, an angry heat that makes her ache. He’s exactly what she needs right now. It’s an agreement. A transaction. It’s uncomplicated. Up until it isn’t. He’s a closed book. An enigma, carefully contained. Until he isn’t.
Until she starts catching glimpses of the man outside the performance. Until she finds that he has walked through a hell of his own. That in his wake, he drags a shadow, unshakeable, and if he falters, if he wavers, it threatens to swallow him whole. And in his hands, clasped tight, so tight, shielded against the storm, he carries a weakened flame. Bright-eyed. His whole world. Only five years old.
And it’s none of Hyunju’s business. He makes that beyond clear. She is a pay-check. A means to an end. Who he is outside of their arrangement is none of her concern.
Her heart does not agree.

Summary
Canon divergent, College AU
Hyunju is in over her head.
It started as a simple tag-along to a party to help Youngmi finally talk to her crush, Semi. It ended with Hyunju in the snogging closet, getting promisingly aquainted with an art student, Gyeongseok. But when Hyunju angrily goes to confront him for never calling him about that promised date, she finds him holding the very baby he thought his ex had never wanted.
And Hyunju, well, she never backed down from a challenge before. So now she's juggling a budding friendship, co-parenting, college, alongside merely trying to exist as a trans woman.
Oh, and trying not to snog Gyeongseok. And sometimes failing.

Summary
“Could you help me with something?”
The question had lodged in Hyunju’s throat so often, had rang in her head like an unheard bell, that at first, she almost didn’t believe she had finally said it out loud. Still didn’t fully believe it, even as Gyeongseok turned his head to her with a curious tilt.
“Help with what?”
After the games, after Thailand, Hyunju finds herself moving back to Korea, moving in with Gyeongseok temporarily. After all, what are friends for, if not helping each other?
And they're both adults. Both single. And Hyunju trusts Gyeongseok more than any other man... so yeah, why not?
Hyunju, post op, wants to try things out on her own terms. Gyeongseok, lovesick, never could say no to her.

Summary
Hyun-ju picks up the pieces after a failed rebellion. Gyeong-seok finds himself stolen away in the chaos of the aftermath. Down in the underworld of the games, they meet again. And then, they make it out.
While Hyun-ju focuses on taking care of the survivors, Gyeong-seok returns to his daughter, Na-yeon. It's only keeping in touch, at first. Survivors supporting each other, gently drifting closer to form a cluster of friends, a found family.
It's only keeping in touch, until he touches her. Until they find themselves in love. Until they find they can't deny themselves this prize of living, if only a little. There is only one real problem. Hyun-ju never told Gyeong-seok about Thailand. And the longer she stays, the harder it becomes to tell him. The harder it becomes to actually leave.

This is a Hyun-ju and Gyeong-seok happy-ever-after fic. COMPLETE.
