Gerard groaned as he rested his forehead on the table, “Why the fuck do you even have this with you, you freak?” his muffled voice was directed at Mikey.
“Because, Gee — it’s our plan for the rest of the year!” Mikey declared.
TLDR: Mikey finds a list of things teenage Gerard had always wanted to do and ropes in Frank and Ray to spend the last week of the year checking off every item. Will they succeed?

And maybe in Ravencolm Hospital, servicing the prisoners in the adjoining penitentiary, he might find purpose again, maybe even peace. Turns out that's pretty fucking hard to do with a coworker like Gerard, with his inexplicable need to dress the way he does, and treat Frank like human flotsam. The rest of the town's creepy-ass denizens aren't helping, or the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere, without even a proper grocery store. Or maybe Frank just deserves to go through hell.

Frank Iero is a barista who at one point really, truly enjoyed his job at the local cafe. But the powers that be (unchecked capitalism) have turned his workplace into something soulless and miserable, a thing he has to get through to pay his rent on time. The only thing worse than the new corporate bullshit is the newest regular: a weird, quiet guy who camps in the corner all day on his laptop and gets under Frank’s skin like no one else.
