As soon as it left your mouth you realized how overly perky and strained it sounded, and Chan wasn’t buying it either. He takes your hand in his and gently caresses it from his seat on the couch, looking up at you with masked concern in his eyes.
“It’s two in the morning. How is it not over yet?” He asks with a breathy chuckle.
You just shrug. “It is what it is.”

Hyung’s friend is here again. He used to only visit every once and a while, but now he is here all the time. At first, I did not enjoy seeing him intrude on my sanctuary. I suppose he has become a…tolerable figure in my home. His lap is warm and comfortable like Hyung’s, though nothing ever compares to Hyung.
This friend has now regularly offered me a very delicious food item that comes from a small tube shaped package. He brought enough for my brothers as well, but he should have brought more. Perhaps I will not mind that he visits so frequently if he brings more. It was a very fitting peace offering and I have forgiven him for his intrusions.
