Cameron has a choice here. She could – should – leave, these men are having what they assume to be a private conversation and her eavesdropping is sure not to be appreciated. On the other hand, a genuine apology is further evidence that House’s capable of real human connection. How could she pass up on that?
She presses herself to the wall so they definitely can’t see her and listens carefully.
“What’s this really about?” Wilson asks. “Stacy?” Who’s Stacy? “Or Cameron?”
Cameron feels her eyes going wide, she definitely can’t walk away now. How on earth is this about her?
