Over this series of events he learns about family, love, and the true meaning of legacy, as well as the unknown history of his own family. And maybe, along the way, he reconnects with an old friend?
(This is a novelization of the first Phoenix Wright game with the roles reversed. It includes heavy dialogue and full illustrations, as well as a lot of original character art! It isn't perfect, but it's one of my favorite projects.)

This is great!! So cute and fluffy! It's not my usual type of fanfic, but I really enjoy rewrites and au's as well!
It's about if Edgeworth prosecuted the State vs Wright case, and he and Phoenix ended up starting their journey towards reconnection sooner. So we get to see plenty of Edgeworths mixed feelings about right and wrong, as they change. There's also Mia!! -

SHE didn’t defend you. Where was she when you were accused of murder? NOT there! Where was SHE when you needed her the most? In fucking GERMANY!”He collapsed to the ground. Body wracked with sobs.
“Mr Nick?” a small, innocent voice. Pearl. Look what you’ve done, Phoenix, you’ve woken her up.
“Pearl, go back to bed,” he whispered through his crying. “This is a dream. Go back to bed.”
prompt: There are some mistakes that “sorry" doesn’t fix. Phoenix was making sure Miles learned that the hard way.
