    Xiao jiu era un esclavo de la familia Qiu. Por capricho de la pequeña dama de la casa, fue comprometido con ella, como si fuera una mascota más entre sus posesiones.

    Un día, el joven maestro Qiu, en un gesto de afecto o vanidad, le regaló a su hermanita un huevo de dragón. Se decía que ese huevo jamás eclosionaría: había pasado más de 300 años sin mostrar señales de vida, y el último dragón avistado en el mundo había muerto hace 321 años. Además, se sabía que el tiempo de incubación de un huevo de dragón era de cuatro meses en el vientre de su madre y entre dos a cinco años después del nacimiento. Pero este huevo... parecía inerte, eterno. Un simple tesoro decorativo, costoso y sin propósito.

    Harry was dead. Harry was a war general at age fifteen. Harry had been shoved into boxes and labels just because his parents were dead and he wasn't. Skull was freedom. Skull was teenage rebellion and a breath of fresh air rather than the air full of ash and blood. Skull had wandered around picking up labels and laughing as he kept them while stomping on the boxes that were handed to him.

    A stuntman that lived off of crowds, but would refuse to be in a room with people if he had to talk to them.

    Dressed in intimidating leather gear and a helmet, but he would always offer to show off a little for kids if they seemed excited to see him.

    A civilian that wandered through blood and death like it meant nothing to him.

    A Cloud that liked hanging around people, a Cloud that didn't have a problem with people telling him what to do, a Cloud that preferred going for the front door rather than sneaking around the back.
