    “Steve?” Jonathan called over the music to get his attention.

    Steve stopped and looked over his shoulder from where he was hovering around the oven, waiting for the food to be finished cooking. His eyes lit up when he realised that Jonathan was the one calling his name before they softened at the sight of him. Nancy told him how Steve wore his emotions on his sleeve, you could read him like a book and Jonathan could just read pure love radiating from him in that moment. It felt like a pure slice of heaven that was served to Jonathan on a golden platter.
