Rhodey enters the workshop to see Tony throwing a xerocopy at a hologram which– He shouldn’t even be surprised. It is definitely not the strangest thing he’s caught him doing.
A xerocopy, a wrench, and a freeze gun later, as Tony is about to throw a teddy bear, he finally notices Rhodes’ and looks up at him.
“So, what did the teddy do?”
Tony stares at Rhodey, eyes empty from the lack of sleep.
He gestures to the hologram display. “Uhm. Spider-Man.”OR: When Tony Stark discovers that a local vigilante, one that successfully plays on his nerves, is his biological kid he loses his mind. Just a little.

He never really worried about the disease until he met Peter Parker. The kid also wore leather gloves, but Peter said he’d worn them ever since the spider bite, because his hands were sensitive and everything hurt. And Tony believed him, because for all of Tony’s genius, he was stupid sometimes.
