    Bobby 'died' two months ago now. Athena is still in the process of selling their dream home. Hen and Karen adopted Mara. Chimney and Maddie welcomed Robert Nash Nan, or Robbie, into their family. Chris and Eddie are back from Texas, and in their old house which Buck has officially moved out of. Everyone is moving on and getting back to normal, or whatever normal life could be without Bobby there. But not Buck, Buck hasn't allowed himself to feel anything, but isn't living anymore either, instead he's caught in a sad state of limbo, the grief creating a numbness around his life...That is until he sees a man who looks an awful lot like Bobby outside of Chimney and Maddie's house, just aimlessly wandering, then everyone changes for Buck.

    Ravi’s voice drops to a near-whisper, thick with incredulous realization. “Wow. Okay. I’ve heard older gays could be kind of… selectively dense about this stuff, but wow. This is next-level.”
    Eddie’s head snaps up, eyebrows shooting toward his hairline. “Did you just call me old?” There’s a flicker of that protective, slightly dangerous edge Ravi now instinctively associates with the Diaz Death Glare™.
    “I’ll have you know I’m bi,” Buck adds helpfully, completely missing the point as usual, his face lit with earnestness.
    Ravi just stares at them, the sheer, magnificent absurdity of it all finally clicking into place. “So… you both agree on the dumb part, then?”
