Summary
A Holy Grail War has gone horribly wrong. A massive blast has ripped through the London Underground and killed countless people. The media is describing it as a “gas explosion”, but every Mage worth their circuits knows what that double speak actually means.
A handful of ghosts with deep ties to humanity’s collective memory have appeared in the aftermath. They should be Heroic Spirits but their true identities are a mystery to everyone, including themselves. Their Masters are victims of the disaster, spared from death by accepting the contract. The Holy Grail War hasn’t ended, either. A team of Masters and Servants are tasked with investigating the ritual and figuring out if the War is even winnable.

A Scholar who is all the garbage you’d expect finally gets called out on his bullshit. Unfortunately, that happens in front of the Aware he likes. Maybe likes. Anyway, is that man actually an Aware? Hard to tell. The point is, being a Scholar and keeping the supernatural community well-stocked artifacts is filthy, thankless work and they should all be paid more.
