No one compares love to the wind. Maybe it’s because its always fleeting, passing through leaves and across water. It still fuels the sails of ships, blessing the canvas with a safe journey. Some ships sink, others make it to their destination, but without the wind, none of that would be possible. It moves without restraint, infiltrating the smallest of crevices and inserting itself everywhere. Such is love. Such is doubt. Such is pain. Such is the will inside those who dare to love in the most unconventional ways.
They were an example of that.
