Summary
Most days were good days, days without any lingering symptoms or effects. Most of the symptoms were manageable in his everyday life— being extremely sensitive to the cold and heat, being nearly too hyperaware of his surroundings to the brink of borderline paranoia some days— the list goes on, really.
Things like that were manageable with time and healing, but other symptoms were, to put it lightly..hell.
And so, like a sense of looming dread, when Hajime woke up, he knew almost instantly what kind of day was set in store for him: the worst of the worst, thanks to a very specific consequence of the procedure.

Nagito's eyes widen, and Hajime can feel the way his hand twitched underneath his. Nagito's skin is cold against his naturally warmer skin.
"I think it's a funny coincidence, that I keep getting brought back to you," Hajime smiles softly, recalling all the "lifes" he has met Nagito in. "Don't you think that makes it a little special?"
"I always thought you were special," Nagito answers unexpectedly, and Hajime sees a familiar yet strange look in his eyes. He could get lost in them right now.

“In some ruined house. It should be on your left. Do you see it?” She kicked some trash away, revealing a torn up, dirty Raider uniform.
“Yeah. Should we head over there?”
“As soon as you can. Just… cover Dear’s eyes when you’re here. This place is a mess.”
