Rage
Rage was Izuku’s constant companion. Ever since he turned five and that doctor spoke the words that were more effective than any poison. With only a few words, Izuku Midoriya had gone from “a bright young child with a promising future and a quick mind,” to “a disruption in class that needs constant management.” All that would have been enough, but then there was his family. Hisashi disappeared into the night only a few weeks later, barely a word as he simply faded into the shadows. And Izuku’s mother, the saint-like woman, Inko Midoriya? She didn’t even look at him anymore, as if she had decided if her child wasn’t acknowledged, time would simply rewind for her. She had at least kept him fed and clothed, until middle school started, then she disappeared too, just like dear old dad, stepped out and never returned.
