Several moons have passed since Brambleclaw (Now Bramblestar) murdered Firestar with Hawkfrost's help. Despite his actions, ThunderClan seems to be thriving. Although, Bramblestar can't help but feel that someone's watching his every move. Do his clanmates really trust him, or was his murder not as well hidden as he'd hoped?
Leafpool didn't believe a word of what Bramblestar and Hawkfrost had told the clans, and what's worse? Thanks to her and Crowfeather's mistake, her own kits were now thought to be Bramblestar's. Leafpool finds herself struggling between her loyalty to ThunderClan and her need to prove what really happened to her father. Will she succeed, or will she be driven to insanity by her grief for her father and the children she wasn't allowed to raise?
