Summary: Brightheart and Cloudtail go hunting together to strengthen their relationship after Daisy joined Thunderclan, but it doesn't go as planned. Brightheart will tackle her fears and finally get closure.
A dog's bark sounded from far away, most likely near Riverclan on the other side of the lake. Brightheart tensed, her fur spiking and heart thumping. She felt hot, her chest aching from the sudden speed of her heart.
"Are you alright? It's probably just a dog with it's twolegs," Cloudtail mewed, stopping beside her. He brushed against her, his fur smoothing over hers. She breathed in his scent, letting it soothe her panic.
"S-sorry, I wish I could just get over it," she mewed bashfully. Thunderclan warriors were supposed to be brave, not cowering at every little sound. How could she call herself a warrior if she repeatedly let her fears control her?

An alternate look at some moments within the Power of Three arc, where Holly (now named Ravenkit) and Jay (named Asterkit) are left at WindClan's border soon after their birth and after being found by a passing border patrol are thus taken in by Nightcloud and Crowfeather and raised as though they're full-blooded WindClan cats. Lion is still in ThunderClan masquerading as a kit between Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, but he's raised under the impression that he has no littermates. This story follows both situations, while focusing more closely on Night/Crow and what happens as revelations come to be.
