Summary
When Crowley is given the chance at a human life (birth to death, family, Free Will, the whole thing) he takes it. He does this, in part, to protect Aziraphale from being forced to take the same opportunity against his will.
However, once Crowley is off on this metaphysical adventure, Aziraphale follows after him, retaining his memories but becoming human himself so that he can watch over his friend.
Now the two of them are growing up together, one ignorant of their true forms and one all too aware of the strangeness of their situation.
Before it's over, the series will follow the two of them through childhood and into adulthood, eventually becoming romantic.

Summary
It's not easy being a capital-G Good King, and Aziraphale is sick of it. All he wants is to hide in his library and read all day. That's why he's arranged with an "evil" sorcerer by the name of Crowley to pretend to be under a love spell so they can get married and Crowley can take over the kingdom. That is, of course, the kind of plan that will definitely not have any complications whatsoever...

Summary
Crowley had been driving for hours, perhaps even days, before he finally gave up circling the length and breadth of the UK. He pulled the Bentley to a stop on a quiet roadside somewhere in West Sussex; it was quiet here. Nothing but rolling hills, wildflower meadows, and chalk cliffs, embraced by the gentle lull of the ocean tides. He felt like he could finally think, like all of the noise of before had finally settled into a background hum. Here, he might finally be able to breathe.
It wasn’t peace exactly, but it was close. Like standing in the ruins of something important and realising the sky was still above you, the ground still solid beneath your feet.
He didn’t know what Aziraphale was thinking. He didn’t know what happened now.
