Summary
Tobirama severely underestimated the speed at which the rumors traveled. Not a full day passed between telling their closest family and the news trickling down and spreading across the entire village. He even let his anger to spill out on Hashirama, certain his brother’s inability to keep private matters to himself and overly-optimistic outlook were at fault. Only for the guilt and shame to crush him like the strongest dotton jutsu when he found out who the main culprit behind the abnormal speed of the rumors was.
Madara rationalized his actions by stating that the faster the rumors spread the faster they would die down.
