Peter wonders if Tony remembers the little boy he saved amidst a sea of chaos the day of the Stark Expo. Peter has never actually brought it up in conversation before, and it's very possible Tony has no idea they met seven years earlier than he thinks. But Peter will occasionally look at the scraped, cheap Iron Man helmet in his box of childhood toys, and he'll think that, in a way, maybe it's more sacred if Tony doesn't know. Because Peter didn't have to be special for Tony to care.
Peter is a firm believer that things can't always be bad—but there are two sides to that coin. If things can't always be bad, then it stands to reason that they can't always be good, either.

“You…” Tony’s eyes narrowed. “Where are you staying, then?” he asked, carefully, like he was afraid of the answer.
“May is staying in one of the post-snap womens’ shelters down the street from our old apartment,” Peter responded, watching as Tony’s shoulders relaxed incrementally at the mention of May— before tensing up again when Peter didn’t continue.
“And you?” his mentor prodded, though knowing that the non-answer in and of itself was answer enough.
“Rooftop on 53rd, when I’m lucky.”
OR: The Endgame fixit in which I:
a) make everyone live,
b) simultaneously traumatize Peter further by making him homeless due to his scroungy resourceful stubborn self-sacrificial self, and

“Hey there, Parker. I’ve got some exciting news about your community service sentencing,” the bright voice from the other line says. "It looks like you've been reassigned."
“Oh, yeah?” Peter asks, warily. His social worker sounds excited, but he's been burned a few too many times to take any "good news" at face value.
Peter listens to her explain with a furrowed brow, and when the call is over, he opens the web browser on his cracked Android and quickly types the words september foundation into the search bar. His eyes narrow as he peruses the top result.
Oh, he is going to kill that Stark bastard.

Space rock crunched under Peter’s armor-clad feet and he dropped his hand from his eyes, turning to Tony. "Mister Stark," he said softly. "What do we do now?”
The question was entirely reasonable, Tony supposed, but being the one expected to answer it was like an infinity gauntlet punch to the gut. (Now there was a unit of measurement he could submit to the CGPM.)
Or: In a billion-to-one cosmic fluke, Tony and Peter both survive the snap and are left alone on Titan with an alien spaceship and no plan in sight. Peter’s presence brings Tony to make a tough call: diverting their course away from Earth in search of food and fuel. With the galaxy in shambles and no clear route home, the two survivors must carve out a path of their own somewhere in the great infinity.
