He closed his eyes and waited for the familiar shuffling of belts and pants dropping, using the moment to stop his hands from the nervous shaking they were doing. It’s not like this was the first time he had done this, and he was sure it wouldn’t be his last. He had just gotten a little spoiled traveling with a group.
When the beat of silence came, he opened them to a very familiar sight. Too familiar. He cast just one of his dancing lights to make sure, before quickly snuffing it out again to sit back in shock.
