"Turns out she had a secret daughter whose father just died. She's a teenager but still too young to be without a legal guardian. She refuses to be put with anyone from her father's side of the family and Mycroft can't take care of her."
"So basically... we're... adopting?"
"Not exactly, but she will be put under our legal care. It's us or complete strangers."
"So, what happens if we say yes?"
