Summary
The last thing John Watson had been expecting, well, there were a lot of things not to expect, but it certainly wasn’t Mrs. Hudson pulling up in a bright red sports car speeding as if the devil was chasing her tail down his therapist’s street.
It certainly wasn’t her interrupting his therapy session that wasn’t even beneficial. It wasn’t the helicopter and police car tracking her down, and then the both of them going away at the blink of an eye because Mycroft’s eyes and ears know no bounds.
But the most unbelievable thing is that Mrs. bloody Hudson, had played John and lied right to his face, tying him into a bond he couldn't get out of even if he tried. He made a promise he wasn’t sure he’d ever go through with.
And the lie was supposedly justifiable. The lie was Sherlock Holmes.

After the rebuilding of 221B Baker Street, Sherlock and John manage to settle into a vaguely comfortable routine of domestic life. But their lifestyle has never been the most child-friendly, and so John writes up some house rules in an attempt to protect Rosie. Sherlock predictably breaks them all in his own way, apart from one.

Small slices of life from 221B as Sherlock and John try to establish some sort of family unit for Rosie, while investigating the intricacies of their own relationship which sits on the border between platonic and romantic. Also there's some background crime nonsense occurring as per usual.

A mural serves as a public confessional where anonymous messages, secrets, and confessions are written. One day, Mike Stamford comes across a message on that mural:
I'm gay and hopelessly in love with the rugby captain.
The rugby team, led by Mike, decides to track down the author of the mysterious message and find a boyfriend for Captain John Watson, who has recently declared himself bisexual. They take a photograph of the wall, print it, and distribute flyers urging the unknown lover to text Mike's phone number.
When John arrives the next day, the hallways are plastered with fliers. He is aware of his friends' good intentions, but it is unfortunate that they did not ask him first. He has no interest in finding out who the secret admirer is. Sherlock Holmes, his shy lab partner, has long captured his heart.Written in May 2024.

Sherlock wants, or rather NEEDS, to study and memorise every little detail of John. He's starting with Johns hands and fingerprints, he'll move on to Johns eyes, his hair/neck, and finally teeth. It's purely for when John is framed for something in the future, of course. There's no emotion or romantic interest poorly hidden in the experiment.
Somehow neither realise Sherlock is infatuated with John? John acts a lot more annoyed with the attention then he actually is...
