As a mafia executive, if he wants to live and preserve his freedom he can't allow anyone to learn his secret. But after an alpha from the Detective Agency saves him with unusual care, Dazai lets him live. And since Atsushi already knows his secret... he's the only person Dazai doesn't have to hide it from. And so, an unusual deal is formed.

Summary

Bored of the repetitive life in the depths, he comes to the surface to observe the sky from the rocks at the bottom of a cliff where no one should be able to see him, but he is surprised by a human child disturbing his peaceful day.
Intrigued by the little creature’s reaction to him, and with nothing better to do, he decides to stay and observe what life the small redhead will lead. However, there is only so much one can know without ever leaving the seas.
